About The Opportunity

This role will lead the HR Reporting & Analytics team providing an HR reporting and analytics service to the global GKN organisation. The role will involve the designing, building, testing and running / scheduling of reports across the organisation, ensuring that regular HR reporting processes happen on time and to a required high standard. The role will also interact with the HR Systems and HR Shared Services teams, HR Centres of Expertise, and HR Business Partners to ensure that all HR reporting needs are addressed using global standards and good practice. As lead for the Reporting & Analytics team, the role involves taking proactive action to fix data issues and support the governance and audit processes to ensure data is high quality.

The lead role will also help to develop Dashboards and Analytics for the global organisation, working with senior customers to understand their requirements and build technical solutions. They may also be required to take the lead role on projects and will help to support the annual processes and cycles with data and reporting requirements. As the senior member of the team they will also be expected to help test system upgrades and support with the proactive management of data security and integrity.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead projects, annual cycles and key initiatives with their reporting requirements and provide data and analysis where required;
Manage and own the monthly delivery of the HR leadership dashboards. The Lead will also support the development of new and innovative metrics for monthly/quarterly update presentations and will support the development of other ad-hoc dashboards for key initiatives;
Manage report requests for HR and business customers on an ongoing basis and develop new reports, based on global standards, to meet customer needs;
Promotion of standard reports and ongoing education of end users to help promote and control the overall reporting landscape;
Lead the Governance and Auditing of the reporting landscape as part of the Reporting & Analytics team;
Develop good internal and external relationships with key stakeholders;
Use initiative to solve problems on a daily basis and to generate new and innovative ways of meeting and exceeding customer needs;
Provide fast and responsive support for “emergency” reporting and data audit cases that may come up;
To lead the development and improvement of HR reports and leadership Dashboards where required;
Drive enhancement in the current reporting landscape in partnership with other teams and team members;
To take initiative, support other team members and make decisions as required to improve the Reporting & Analytics offerings to our customers;
To support the design of the roadmap and strategy for HR Reporting & Analytics in the future.
