About The Opportunity

To expedite parts as necessary and assist Maintenance, Engineering and Indirect Store Room.

Key Responsibilities
  
  • Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures.

  • Source and order parts needed for production operations

  • Track Parts as needed for Maintenance and Production

  • Coordinate service and technical assistance as needed

  • Work with Maintenance and Engineering to setup spare parts

  • Work with Maintenance, Production and Safety to enter work order as needed

  • Analyse parts ordered for spare part setup

  • Assist purchasing by contacting suppliers with past due purchase orders and request expedite

  • Monitor past due reports.

  • Assist cycle counts along with variance reports, on a monthly basis

  • Oversee rebuilding program of damage/worn components as required

  • Assure rebuild is used before a new component is issued

  • Interface with accounting to correct supplier invoicing errors as required.

  • Formulate presentations as needed

  • Adherence to administrative requirements regarding OSHA, ISO/TS 16949, and ISO 14001.

  • Assist tracking stock outs, root cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence. 

  • Fill in for all duties inside storeroom as required.

  • Other duties as assigned within the scope of this position.

  

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

GENERAL:

    • Strong computer skills with working knowledge of MFG/Pro, Windows, Microsoft Office and Infor EAM
    • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task
    • Self-motivated, results driven with minimal guidance
    • Proficient written and oral communication skills
    • Team oriented with strong leadership skills

 

FORMAL EDUCATION:                   

             

  • High School Diploma-Required

  • Two-year Business Degree-Preferred

     

    ON-THE-JOB EXPERIENCE:

     

    • 3 to 5 years manufacturing experience with tool purchasing/inventory control preferred but not required

 

    • MFG/Pro and Infor EAM experience preferred but not required
