About The Opportunity

Product Development Engineer    


Key Responsibilities

-Support of Programm lead to conduct joint development activities by concept design, design analysis via CAE, definition of product DFMEA

-design of single components, Sub-assemblies, side- and propshafts under consideration of customer, GKN and general industry Standards

-Management of drawings and all associated documents in GKN´s PDM data base

-Project based Management (coordination of prototype production and test activities)

-interdepartmental and customer/supplier communication

-Support of Phase C Problem solving and Phase D VA/VE
-working in international (non homogeneous) Teams
- doing or leading different program and/or design associated calculations
-patent researches (product-associated) 

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

University (Bachelor) degree in Engineering

Very good written and verbal communication skills

Good language knowledge in English

good knowledge of GKN Systems (Creo, Windchill)
