About The Opportunity

Value Stream Rotatives manufacture rotating parts for commercial and military aircraft as well as for gas turbines. We are expanding and dived our shop into 4 departments and are now looking for an additional manager for dept. 9760, Shared resources. There are both manual work and machines within the department. Your department consists of around 25 co-workers and the shifts are divided into teams where each team is led by a Team Leader.

Key Responsibilities
The role as a Manager for Shared Resources includes responsibility for the following main areas:
 Shared Resources include CMM, Shotpeening, NDT and other processes.

Develop and maintain a competitive team.
As a manager you are responsible for meeting current production targets as well as continuously improving the operations to meet future targets.
You will provide leadership, management and direction to your department as well as support the value stream by ensuring that the area of responsibility is supplied with proper manpower, machines, tools and training.
Safety, quality, delivery and continuous improvement should be driving factors.
Secure communication and interaction with other Value Streams.
You will be a full accountable member of the Value Stream management team with focus to deliver GOLD-performance.

We are looking for a service-minded team-player with an outgoing personality with a strong drive to deliver and constantly develop and improve organization and industrial structure.
You are a firm leader with an interest and ability to lead and develop your employees.
The position requires an outgoing personality with excellent collaboration skills.
Lean production is a key for success in this position.
Strong customers focus and good communication skills are essential, as is the ability to network and create trusting relationships.
Your background should include relevant production- and leadership experience.
