About The Opportunity

Services and Special Products (SSP) within Aerospace Engine Systems in Trollhättan is looking for an additional Manufacturing Engineer to join the ME department. There are approximately 22 co-workers within the department working with development and series programs. The department consists of Manufacturing Enginners and Manufacturing Leaders.

The ME will be responsible for robust manufacturing process selection, implementation and control of products to meet the requirement.

Key Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

As a Manufacturing Engineer you will be responsible for the product and that it is manufactured using standardized methods and procedures and for the routing. 

·  Ensures that the selected manufacturing solutions for the product, follow process and customer requirements 

·  Handle quality deviations

·  Responsible for inserting corrective action 

·   Responsible for developing repair procedures 

·  Responsible for production qualification 

·  Define inspection methods and extent 

·  Working with continous improvement, focus on a stable and robust processes 

·  Interact with other ME specialists suchs as CAM, manufacturing preparation and method specialists 

· Order fixtures utilities and tools 

· Acting expert in quality deviations on incoming materials

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

·  Technical education, preferably at an academic level or equivalent. 

· We believe that you have an analytical mind and possess communication skills in Swedish and English. 

·  You are open and positive person with a proven ability to manage continuous improvement. 

· Experience in Manufacturing 

· Strong desire to improve 

· A clear customer focus 

· Ability to build relationships and networks
