Master Scheduler (Job #MSWEB)


Responsible to develop and manage planning tools to support internal and external customer requirements for all products as they relate to the Assembly Value Stream to ensure the achievement of monthly/annual Quality, Control and Delivery (QCD) targets. Comply with all company and departmental policies and procedures. Perform EDI (Electronic Data Interface) Order Validation. Develop and manage daily/weekly assembly build plan. Create and maintain shop orders. Consume scrap & re-manufactured parts. Develop and maintain sales forecasts (Demand Management). Develop and maintain Master Production Schedule (MPS) Process. Evaluate MRP (Material Requirements Planning). Extend Material Master for MRP Planning. Validate and extend BOM’s (Bill of Material) including Engineering Change review. Take Lead Logistics role on project management teams for new and existing projects. Manage customer returns. Schedule parts for service requirements. Schedule Pre-assemble production and service kits. Maintain customer contacts and act as Primary Point-of-Contact for all Customers. Expedite direct material as needed. Evaluate stock levels. Maintain product and inventory information in I-Supply. Create and maintain Material Master Extension for MRP Planning. Direct “Shipping Authorization Approval” process. Process Automatic Goods Receipt Error Handling-COGI (Cost of Goods Issue). Provide back up for other scheduling personnel. Control of out-source material.



  • Requires two years of experience in the position offered, or in a similar position, such as Master Production Schedule Planner and Supplier Scheduler or Supply Chain Manager. Experience must include leading supply chain activities, including production planning, material planning and shipment planning.
