About The Opportunity

Development and continuous improvement of material and information flow processes and efficient utilization of available capacitates and resources in order to meet customer demand, enhance material flow and optimize inventory.


Key Responsibilities
 Deploy, manage monitor and improve planning processes within the site to:

Best capture and communicate customer demand

  •  

    • Ensure the effective use of available internal capacity/resources

     

    • Synchronize external resources

     

    • Actively promote participation of all functions in these processes

     

  • Ensure inputs to the planning processes are regularly reviewed and monitored for accuracy and corrected accordingly (inventory accuracy, BOM’s, routings, shop floor order control and other master data).

     

  • Ensure movement of materials on time and in full at all points in the process in line with agreed upon plans.

     

  • Ensure proper control and storage of inventory

     

  • Continuously develop external materials network to achieve lowest cost movement of material into and out of plants.

     

  • Ensure appropriate supply chain targets are achieved (Customer DSA, Inventory Turns, etc.)

     

  • Contribute to the longer term strategy (3-5 year plan) for the site from a supply chain perspective.

     

  • Develop and deploy the supply chain Continuous Improvement plan and projects to achieve business plan.

     

  • Responsible for annual and as needed Physical Inventory processes.

     

  • Responsible for all Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning, forecasting and reporting for site.

     

  • Responsible for Supply Chain budgeting and management of operations within budget, and all budget reporting.

     

  • Responsible for management of NWT Logistics Protocol to supply base and
  • coordination of corrective actions for non-conforming packaging.

     

  • Responsible for appropriate system responses and containment for Customer complaints associated with Supply Chain failure modes. To include PFMEA, CP and Standardized Work instructions management.

     

  • Primary point of contact of SAP SD, WM and MM issues.

     

  • Responsible for all inbound receiving inspection, to include dimensional analysis, reporting, containment and sorting activities.

     

  • Responsible for approval and coordination of supplier chargeback process.

     

  • Responsible for management of SAP Electronic Receipt Settlement (ERS) functionality with SAP.

     

  • Responsible for coordination of all inbound supplier deliveries, and expediting as needed.

     

  • Responsible for all NAFTA reporting, as well as all import/export clearance documentation.

     

  • Responsible for management of both on-site and off-site warehouse operations.

     

  • Primary escalation point for Customer and Supplier delivery/logistics issues.

     

  • Responsible for communication and enforcement of Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality policies and procedures
