About The Opportunity

Material Handler position in Bowling Green, Ohio is responsible for the movement of materials throughout the plant and requires the use of motorized tugger machines as well as manual lifting. 

Must be able to lift 25 lbs frequently.

Two to five years experience in warehouse operations.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to stay organized and multi-task responsibility

Some computer skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Comply with all company, departmental and safety policies and procedures.

  • Receives material daily from shuttles/suppliers, unpack pallet material into smaller flow racks and labeling/put-away.

  • Decant and/or prepare material to suit acceptable feed to production line.

  • Is involved with Inventory control functions of the on-site and off-site warehouses including cycle counts, part number and location verification.    

  • Performs audits and trains others as needed.

  • Pulls parts and stocks lines with appropriate tuggers, forklifts, walkees and carts.

  • Moves FG, dunnage, trash, etc.  to respective areas.  Keep production lines clean from trash, chips, empty bins and excess material.  Load cardboard/plasic into compactors.

  • General warehouse fork lift and inventory duties – moving material, finding parts in warehouse, putting material away including Finished Goods and Customer Dunnage, inventory.

  • Works in MFGPro and with Scanners to make proper material movements and labels.

  • Prepare FG packaging and apply strapping/placards before moving to FG area

  • Any other tasks and duties as assigned.
