The Sales and Customer Support department at GKN Aerospace is now looking for a Customer Support Manager. GKN Aerospace is the original aerospace innovator. For decades, GKN technologies have inspired and industrialized the aerospace industry, combining engineering excellence and technology leadership. We lead the industry in developing new technology to improve aircraft efficiency: lowering aircraft cost, weight and emissions.
 
Our Sales and Customer Support department is responsible for all sales and customer support tasks related to aircraft and industrial gas turbine engine maintenance. You will be a part of a team consisting of six people focused on sales and support for customers maintaining their PW100-engine at the Trollhättan facility or at the customer’s site.

Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Support Manager you will be responsible for a number of PW100-customers in Europe and Asia. In your daily work you act as the interface between the customer and our repair and overhaul facility in Trollhättan, Sweden to make sure we meet the customers’ requirements and expectations. Another part of the job is to negotiate cost and lead-time on the services provided to the customer. You will also be responsible for making sure that we meet our internal targets in order to improve the business.

Qualifications / Experience / Skills

We are looking for someone with an engineering degree and at least 3 years’ experience from a similar position. To be successful in this position, you possess great communication skills to interface internally and externally with customers. You are a cross-border team player with the ability to deliver results on time. You are also an outgoing, open-minded and positive person with a demonstrated ability to manage continuous improvements.
